The Zebra came to me with a brief that could fit on a sticky note: make something funny.

Creative Director Josh DiMarcantonio and I built the campaign around a simple idea: life gives people enough to worry about already, and The Zebra makes sure insurance isn't on that list. We put characters in absurdly stressful situations who stay weirdly calm, because they're just that relieved to have their insurance sorted. Ridiculous on the surface. Relatable underneath.

I directed and photographed the four :30 spots and print campaign, all filmed in a single shoot day on an LED volume wall in Brooklyn. We used a combination of Unreal Engine environments, practical set design, SFX rigging, and a bit of AI for the falconer spot, where a woman is carried through the sky by a giant eagle.

One less thing to worry about

Director Zack Seckler delivers a masterclass...all four spots score through great combinations of tech, human talent and old-school filmmaking. The AI elements never overpower. Instead they feel hyper-real, amplifying each weird situation and gluing eyes to the screen.
